Tingri is a town in Southern Tibet that is often used as a base by mountain climbers to ascend Everest and Cho Oyu. Also, it used to be an important trading post where Sherpas from Nepal traded for Tibetan wool, livestock and salt.
Made of high-pile heathered fleece, with a DWR and wax finish on the places that see the most exposure, like the back and tops of shoulders, the Tingri Jacket is a versatile layer. Named after Tingri, where climbers set up base camp to train for peaks like Cho Oyu and Everest.
