Wash blade by hand with warm water and mild detergent and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Keep handle dry. Do not immerse in water. To preserve blade edge, we recommend working on wooden and food-grade plastic surfaces only.

Q: Is the knife dishwasher safe?
A: No. The handles are made of hardwood and should not be exposed to water and detergent.
Q: Do I need to treat the wood handle with oil?
A: The wood has been treated with a protective finish that does not require maintenance and should be kept dry. Should the finish wear off over time, it is recommended to lightly wipe the wood with food-safe mineral oil.

Most Gear.com orders can be returned anytime within 30 days of purchase for any reason, as long as the product is unwashed/unworn/unused, and is still in its original packaging with original tags, etc. Some exceptions apply and will be noted on the product detail page, such as items marked final sale. As long as the return meets the requirements of our 30 day return policy we will email a prepaid return shipping label when a return request is submitted. Gear.com does not provide any direct warranty services, though your purchase may be covered by a brand or manufacturer warranty.
