The Luma Bottle was originally conceived as an environmentally responsible alternative to the use of plastic bottled water. Founder Willy Hogan, a germaphobe and true outdoor enthusiast, was passionate about protecting marine life and sought a reusable, non-plastic bottle solution that prevented the growth of harmful, unappetizing bacteria. The idea of the Luma Bottle was born when Willy remembered using UVC light to purify water on an outdoor excursion in his childhood. The Luma Bottle was truly conceived in the great outdoors, merging innovation, sustainability and wellness.
